After my friend and teammanager of NJ Procycling Jicky Nonkers started to write press releases, I couldn't stay behind. So here is my first press release.
I started two seasons ago, with the intention to start a climbing team. After making some general rookie mistakes I started to understand the game. I bought two riders, a climber and a hill sprinter. They gave me some nice results and and I ended the season in division 6 with 6 wins out of 12 results. Last season I though it was a great idea to recharge me climbing captains topform, this costed me a some results and eventually I ended the season with 3 wins out of 8 results. At the end of this season I decided to sell my climbing captain and focus on sprinting and hill sprinting. First I bought Sesimbra, a 212 sprinter. A great captain in the lower divisions, he is maybe a bit older, but his experience covers a great part of that gap. This transfer immediatly paid off with three podiums, unfortunatelly no wins yet. Last week I bought my new hill captain Max Weber, a 31 year old rider with HL-SP-FR-TQ of 73-64-64-54, not great but good enough to get som results especially in combination with Sesimbra.
In the last half year and thus my first half year I wasted a lot of money, this season i'm gonna try to stay in division 6 and maybe to climb to division 5. Another goal is to save some money or to get some cheap leadouts to get a team of 12 riders.
